Melanie Solomon | | Hello potential investors,
My name is Melanie Solomon, and I am the author of, "AA-Not the Only Way; Your One Stop Resource Guide to 12-Step Alternatives." This vital publication is being praised by some of the top addiction experts, as well as NAADAC, The Association of Addiction Professionals, who have found this material to be so benefical to the addiction community, that they decided to sell it on their own website, promoting it to all of their members. This book is the FIRST ever to provide a comprehensive, and expanding, directory of licensed professionals and treatment programs who offer alternatives beyond the traditional 12-step approach, which research states has about a 5% success rate. So this book is for the 95% of the participants for whom AA does NOT work for.
Since I was caught in a 10 year nightmare, going in-and-out of rehabs, sober livings, and emergency rooms, and the only reason I got out was by a massive overdose which almost killed me, I am very passionate about getting this research out into the general public. However, I have now realized that doing everything on my own has become a much more difficult task than I thought. I am on a limited budget, yet I need to hire professional firms to get me on national radio and tv programs, as well as a good pr firm and an assistant. This book is now being bought in boxes by rehabs to give to their clients as part of their discharge plan, so they have a much better chance of success.
If anyone is interested in helping out this cause, in helping to not only get this publication out there, but make it possible for me to continue with my research and next book, which is going to be geared towards teens, please contact me. This project has the potential to be huge, having every facility have it for their clients, get it into the prison system, and the education systems as well. Congratulations on your success. I think in general for your approach it's two fold:
1. Get credibility that you know the subject and can make money and do the biz end of it.
2. Tell investors and prove to them what type of return they will get.
You may find some that are altruistic or just helping from their hearts but those will be few and far between.
